Dear Players,

We want to apologize for the long gap without any news, but now we are able to give you the overdue status update.

The first thing to address is the planned release date. Unfortunately, we have to accept the fact that we will not be able to keep up with our original aim to release Kronos by the end of 2014. This saddens us as much as you, but there are a couple of things we still want to improve before the launch and these matters will be worked on with full steam starting in a little more than a week. Nonetheless, we still believe we are on a good track and hope to be able to give you more detailed information about the release date as we progress through the last important issues.

Before that, there will be a meeting with members of the other TwinStar projects as well as the TwinStar administration in the upcoming week to organize and ensure a proper launch for Kronos. From this meeting, we expect positive results that will help us on the final steps towards release and we will, of course, inform you about the outcomes.

Within the next week or two we also intend to update our FAQ to address some of the questions that have been been cause for intense discussions on our forums, including possible reevaluations of issues such as multiboxing, battleground queueing mechanics and more.

So far, the project has drawn a lot of attention and more importantly, you the community has grown larger and larger. This shows us that we are on the right track and even though we have to delay the launch a bit further, we will make sure that it is worth the wait. We are more confident than ever that Kronos will be the huge success that we have been hoping for since restructuring the project last summer.

The last thing we want to address, for now, is that because of the large size of the community and the high number of people anticipating the launch of Kronos, we are looking for dedicated people who are interested in contributing to this project and helping out as a Developer, Forum Moderator, or Community Manager.
While requirements for Developers and Forum Moderators can be found in our previous recruitment post here, this is the first time we are actively trying to recruit a dedicated Community Manager.

As Community Manager we would like you to directly engage and interact with our current members and followers on all social media platforms as well as providing the occasional feedback on the Forums. As always, creativity and self-reliance are very important to us and previous experience is highly appreciated but not a necessary prerequisite.

Thank you all for your continued support and effort in making Kronos known to more and more players.

Sharing information is one thing Kronos REALLY needs to work on!
...
Get a community manager.
Heh, they've listened to Psojed, to us all xD

Thank you so much. Many of us are very pleased to read such a post. Good luck! :)

I'm really happy to read that the staff is aware of our concerns and suggestions. Kudos to you!

I'm looking forward to the staff's opinion on the bg queue and what new videos they have in store for us(maybe instances? Battlegrounds? Escort quests? )

Thanks for the update Chero!

I don't mind it releasing later as I know the more work you guys have a chance to do before it releases, the more players might join!

But just keep the updates flowing. A "updated" community is a happy community:biggrin:

Thank you for the informations !

I'm still hoping for a launch this Q1 2015.

which escort quests are in your mind specifically ?

Looking forward to it!

Thankfully I do have plenty of things to keep me busy until Kronos comes along, so I can wait.

Thank you very much for the updates. I am very grateful for the good information, and very happy to read that you are aware of our concerns as part of this community too :)

Personally I think showing off "In Dreams" would count as great escort showoff.

As for other things, I would display
- summoning Vael from the ring during the fight with Rend in UBRS.
- periodical skeleton attacks on the Scarlet Bastion in Stratholme.
- working fight with Nathanos the Blightcaller.

Just a few thoughts :)

Makes me feel special that you ask for my humble opinion.

Anyhow, kinda hard for me to remember escort quests since I never saw one functioning on a private server, I'm sure there are better experts than me on these forums.

anyhow when i dig into my brain that chicken in tanaris is one a lot of people come across while leveling, same for that turtle in thistlethrub valley. While we are in tanaris the ZF stairs event is also a very nice showcase.

Also didn't you have to escort windsor too in BRD for the onyxia chain?

STV is also a much frequented lvl zone, where I'd love to see a working gurubashi chest event and fishing contest.

Some of the events in sunken temple are interesting too.

I'm not saying you should make complete footage about all of those things but a short mention doesn't hurt. Maybe take a look at the "frequent bugs on servers"-topic on forum for more inspiration.

Thanks for the update, now that Corecraft AND Kronos will be both delayed a bit more I can spend the holidays the way I'm intended to

Yes, around the cell 'block' to open a couple of doors, I think into another room to get his gear, and then back to the entrance.

Yes, and with every door he gets some of his items back. That quest was working on K2 already. Its pretty cool. Just make sure to clear the way before starting it :)

I'm just glad Kronos will not be released during vacation times. You made the right choice by not rushing despite the pressure.

BTW is there some history or time lapse or similar to the % thingy in the front page? It's hard to see what has progressed without a reference point. For fun.

Reevaluation of battleground queueing mechanics? Can this mean there is a chance for no stupid chat commands to queue from everywhere? I think I wet my pants.
