AddOns installation

Hi guys, might have missed this somewhere in which case apologies for a duplicate.

What is the process, in non-savvy terms, for downloading and installing addons? I always used curse client and had it automatically done, I could never get the AddOns folder process working when I played in TBC (I was pretty oblivious to how to use PCs in general!)

Any help?

At this point the best thing to do is to google search something like "1.12 addons". You're going to find them on other project's sites, which is fine, just make sure after you download them you can them for viruses just to be safe. All you need to do is to extract the addons and then add the extracted folder(s) to the Addons folder under the Interface folder in your WoW client folder.
