Almost ready for release , but we need your help!

On all 1.12.1 projects I've encountered at least 1 issue which rendered this quest : http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=2501 undoable, the quest chain provides an indispensable alchemy recipe: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=9030 which is just brilliant in PvE & PvP alike, could you check for an avid fan if this is all in order ? You'd have my sincerest thanks :)

retested it, quest is working, it's only available to alchemists and the NPC teaches you the new potion as the quest reward.
 
I hate when mod run just right into your hitbox,and you cant hit em unless you make a step backward.and so is a bug with some yellow mobs which dont attack you at all.Hope theyll be fixed on Kronos.

Pet doesn't stop attacking when the opponent uses stealth if you've sent your pet on him while he is visible.

Thats probably not even a bug. I know at some point pets and minions chased you until you used vanished. Not sure how long this lasted though.

If you kill the first wave of non-elites, and let a hunter solo aggro the random elite boss, you can use Feign Death and the Event resets. Thus you can farm the boss you specifically need easily if that's what you want to do (Compared to running out and resetting the instance). I don't think this works as intended, but idk, don't remember how it was in retail. Though it does seem as exploiting..

The event will also reset on Kronos, but the same mob will spawn again. You have to reset the instance and try again. So its only possible to farm the arena 5 times per hour.
 
I don't know if this has been addressed anywhere, but I believe that hunter pets should respawn with the hunter in battlegrounds. As it is if your pet dies, then you die, your pet will still be dead after you are rezzed by the spirit.

I think that's how it worked back in vanilla, but I could be wrong.

same thing for locks AFAIK
 
I notece something but not sure it's a bug.Hunter pet atack some NPC...after start atack u cant give him back :mad2:

I am pretty sure that is no bug since it worked on retail, too. Because I was hunter on retail and did that :D But perhaps they fixed it anytime. No idea...
 
I remember in retail Blizzard nerfed the Old Treasure Chest in Scholomance because players were teleporting or exploiting the chest in some way.

Players can split pulls with Eye of Kilrogg.
 
I'm have no experience at all when it comes to programming, or whatever it's called fixinging bugs/optimizing a server, so I'm wondering the following:

All these bugs fixed which are shown in the update films coming from Kronos every now and then; do we know that these bugs are actually fixed forever? Could they return even though they've been tended once and confirmed fixed? Like for instance when you have your light bulb changed cause it's expired and then a while later you have to do it again?

In theory... yes, regression bugs can and do happen depending on the state of the program and how the code is structured. They're somewhat difficult to identify before they happen so generally you can only try to reproduce and fix them as soon as they show. Some automated tests can avoid regressions in basic functions but as the number of possible interactions grow, so do the number of tests.

Hopefully if we do end up getting regressions, it isn't something gamebreaking like an item dupe exploit!

This sounds even worse, that way you could reset until you get the desired mob then keep on farming that one mob until you get your drop, making it even easier than if a new boss would have selected every time.
 
You didn't get it, event resets which means that boss will despawn and launching that event again result in smawning the same boss again. So you can kill taht boss only once and the only way to get another boss is instance reset.
 
I encountered some exploits while levelling characters.

Rogue: When I throw while stealthed to a pack, only the mob wich got hit got pulled. While unstealthed and throw, whole pack got pulled. Also worked on bosses that are used to be chainpulled.

Warrior: While dueling on zepellin and you use charge, you fall down.

Hunter: While on a boat with your pet and you land on other continent, your pet is 'there' but you can't see him nor dismiss him or summon him since he is 'there', you only see it's portrait and it's abilities in grey color. After you relog he is back.

Deadmines: I soloed VanCleef with a lvl 18 warlock, just DoT him and jump to a safe ledge, he will follow you but he cannot come on the ledge so you can keep DoT him till he dies, worked on Capt. Greenskin and Cookie aswell.

So to answer the unanswered stuff. I restested ingame each one on testrealm (unless it was not a bug).

How they do it: They take a specific route throughout the instance avoiding aggro and/or using invisibility pots in order to bypass the mobpacks. There's a safespot in Jin'dos trash room to the left (by the statue) in which you can avoid both the berserker and Jindo's trash patrol. The goal for the players is to make it to that safe spot and after the berserker has passed start aoe farming down pack for pack (which is done in a specific spec without frostbite).

Tyr's Hand mobs have 3x less HP, identical item drops and more silver per kill, minus coins/bijous. To get to that Jindo spot, player has to use invis + speed boost.

The crests can be used to banish other elementals, but shouldn't give exp.

Another thing which doesn't work on most servers I've played on is the Lava Damage ticks. What I mean by this is that you should be able to bypass "ticks" of the lava damage by timing your jumps in the Lava, which many servers have ignored to implement.

Imp packs of 5 around in Burning Steppes. They have between 800-1'100 HP each but they give same exp as mobs of their level.
Correct, not a bug.

- Freezed in midle air: when a mob knockback and freeze at the same time the char remain frozen at middle air and not in the ground;
- Pillars in Un'Goro Crater: do they work?
- Spawn Raptor Matriarch in Un'Goro during the quest: The Scent of Lar'korwi;
- Cleanse corrupted herbs in Fellwood, check if all herbs works;
- Check for Costal Terrain, sometimes fish spawn where you can't use fishing ability;
- On Feenix mobs Cleave all' arround... not only in front of them (but idk if it is a bug or not);
- Quest: Elven Legends, the remains of Kariel Winthaus works?

Scholomance: Alexei Barov´s adds can be pulled alone (body pull), the adds should be linked with alexei

BWL: -Missing Loot -> Shaman t2 boots, Warrior t2 wrists
- Suppresion Room respawn and active traps while Lashlayer is down

class skill: [Paladin] Hammer of Wrath -> no spell damage added

Baron Rivendare: Door doesn´t close after starting combat

Feared players run in another direction as they are shown

- Not a bug. Those pots, etc. that cannot be used outside of BGs have such information in the use text.

Have you guys checked pet pathing? Hunter and lock pets

On ED you could pull general drakkisath from the UBRS/LBRS entrance. Pets dont follow any pathing 'rules' If the player can /target the mob, he can /attack and the pet would travel the entire instance to go get him, then you can pull him back. Pretty cheesy.

Pets won't attack targets they cannot see. Pet in UBRS checks for pathing and returns back to you.

Campfires started by flagged players flag other players
- They don't flag on Kronos.

- The described mobs movement helps prevent botting. On Kronos, mobs reposition themselves around you at times.
- The only yellow mobs that don't attack are critters.

- Everyhing gets pulled even with stealth or shadowmeld on Kronos.
- When an enemy cannot get into melee range with you and if you don't return into a place where he can come to you, he will reset to his spawnpoint.

Sometimes you dying from falling damage after teleport.
- Does not happen on Kronos. The game checks if you fell or teleported.

- It was mentioned, only with stealth, and it does not work. You cannot separate mobs from packs in the open world or instances.
 
On ED we would powerlevel people 55-60 in seconds in MC. Core hound packs after Luci would give xp every time aoe hit them while they were dead but before they despawned. Maybe 20xp per kill, but 40 ppl aoeing means you'd ding every pull.
 
How would even someone notice something like that? I had no idea you can enter before 60
 
Hate the exploit, not the exploiter.

Yeah that's like that old saying which was very popular during socialism in our country: "He who does not steal, is robbing his own family." Needless to say, both are stupid.

(You may have had to become the exploiter on your previous server, to keep on par with others, but not here. Here you simply report it and it gets fixed immediately*)
