Anyone else experience rank calculation errors?

This is wrong. It may be the way it works on other servers but obviously not here. One week in and we have a number of ranked players running around. This may be part of the problem, people thinking that they have to wait a week to get their rank.

If you had over 25 HK's last week and got a standing, you should have received a rank (like many others). If you didn't then you have the same problem. Please report it.

Yes, I believe I am, I've seen 3 or 4 and know of more people who got bugged either rank-capped this week and a very good example is here:

Hembura was willing to show that regardless of his standing and honor gain his rank was not capped due to his leve, yet you can clearly see(and know as background Info I was already r3) I did not gain any rank improvement whatesoever even though I was standing 2 with 60k honor farmed last week, this is a pretty alarming fact to say the least, I'd really like to encourage the staff if possible to look into this and see why some players got rank capped while others improved nonchalanty.

At the time of RP distribution, you had to be less level than 30, right? Players up to level 29 are capped at 6500 RPs.

There were wrong RP caps for players at or above level 30.

Rank grounding is going to happen this week based on values from http://www.wowwiki.com/Honor_system_(pre-2.0_formulas)#Level_Limits

Additionaly, we are aware of lifetime honorable kills issue.

Hence the players that were under 30 yet received all their RP will keep their rank and those that didn't will stay the same ? I can't seem to comprehend the fairness here, no offense :(
 
Its not a mistake, its a deliberate CAP so people can not farm high ranks in low levels.
