Are the number of chairs in major cities blizzlike?

So far I've been very impressed with Kronos and the amount of work put towards making it a perfect blizzlike server. Easily the best server I've played on. That being said, there is always room for improvement. A couple of days ago I decided I should count to see if the number of chairs in the various major cities is blizzlike.
I've determined that the number of chairs is either blizzlike, or very close to it.

Here's a list of the cities and the number of chairs in them:
Alliance Cities:
Ironforge: 122 chairs
Stormwind: 319 chairs
Darnassus: 1 chair
Horde Cities:
Orgrimmar: 2 chairs
Thunderbluff: 0 chairs
Undercity: 4 chairs

You can see a clear imbalance here between the Horde and Alliance, but that's a story for another day.
Overall, these numbers seem to match from when I counted the chairs back during TBC on Mannoroth-US. I will admit I only had data for the Horde cities back then. but those match up exactly as I remember.

Some people have asked whether I count certain things as chairs, or why certain things don't count as chairs. Thrones, such as the one in Ironforge and Orgrimmar do count. Benches don't count. Seats don't count, unless the seat is a chair. A chair must have a back to rest on. Armrests are not required.

Here's a couple of images I saved that you might find interesting:

The only chair in all of Darnassus
I had actually resigned myself to the fact that this city had no chairs (TONS of benches, however) until one of the very last buildings I investigated had this one, solitary chair.

Secret throne/chair in Ironforge behind High Tinker Mekkatorque
I was pretty surprised to find this. I think one could argue that it's not a chair, but it sure as heck looks like one.

Secret rocket-chair in Ironforge
This is a pretty tricky chair to spot, since it's not one you can interact with, and it's tied down with rope, partially obscuring it. There is another one of these rocket-chairs in the Orgrimmar Engineering hut.

Some possible missing chairs in Stormwind
I noticed in some of the bars in Stormwind, that some tables don't have chairs where they should. In other bars, these tables do have chairs. Very peculiar. Perhaps this is the only thing the Kronos team overlooked when making this near flawless blizzlike server, or perhaps these chairs were forgotten back in the day as well.

Bonus section:

History Trivia: The number of chairs changed in WotLK with the addition of barbershop chairs, and again after the Cataclysm. How many chairs were present in Orgrimmar after the addition of barbershop chairs?
Answer:
There are five chairs in Orgrimmar after the 3 barbershop chairs were added.

Thank you for reading :~)

A fine connoisseur of chairmancy, hats off to thee.

What has been learned?

1 Nightelfs do not like chairs. Human scholars have yet to discover the secrets of their unchairible ways.
2 Gnomes compensate their shortness with high-seats.
3 Horde is too underdeveloped (stoneage dwellers, pfff) to incorporate the advantages of widespread chairmanship.

Next on the list: Beds, or: The technological advancement of bedcrafting - a theory in sleepmancy in Azeroth.

Horde is just too busy to sit down, whereas lazy humans have nothing to do all day and dwarven and gnomish legs tire soon due to their shortness so they approve chairs aswell! Nightelves simply sit in trees- that single chair is for human visitors. Although I wonder how Undead sit down without parts of their butt falling apart.

Peculiar indeed and quite game breaking.

The chairs in Undercity are clearly just remnants from their past as lazy humans.

Ergmagerd, thanks for the laugh haha XD

This is my favourite chair :3

Thank you, sew. Did you do the census with Silvermoon and that jewish space goat city in TBC? Just curious, because Silvermoon seems to have quite a variety of chairs, benches and even pillows for sitting. It must have upped the chair ratio of the Horde big time.

What about neutral places like Goblin towns or Moonglade?

Apologies for replying to this so late. I've recently counted The Exodar and Silvermoon City... I counted Shattrath as well but I forgot to write it down--I'll have to go back soon.

The Exodar: 0 chairs (this is acceptable because nobody goes to The Exodar)
Silvermoon City: 77 chairs

I don't count benches or pillow seats as chairs.
Maybe some day I'll investigate all of the Goblin towns although I suspect the number for that to be very low.

Oh, also, I have determined that there is only one single secret chair on GM Island:

Shamelessly bumping this thread since I know it will get extra views considering recent events
(and to advertise Kronos' strictly blizzlike chair placement)

Due to recent events this is a very relevant topic.
I bet 25.000 people still don't know the exact amount.

i hope it's not against the rules to bump threads
very important info contained in this thread

Hey all, quick update: at the end in the section where I mention there are potentially some missing chairs in some taverns in stormwind, I have counted 345 chairs in retail classic wow stormwind, so there are definitely some chairs missing. I can send screenshots to the dev team if they need to see where and how they are placed/where they're missing from
