Here is the list of BiS resistance item per slot I made a few years ago while playing on another server. This list is meant mainly for protection warriors, altohugh it can be usefull to any plate user.
This lists consists of BiS items for each slot. Ease of obtainability of these items wasn't taken into consideration. Your goal should be to get as few items from this list as possible while still reaching 315 of the respective resistance (bosses are considered level 63, 5 resistance "skill" for each level =63*5=315). Unlike other stats you get no bonus for going over 315 resistance.
