Blacksmithing Can you Unlearn Armorsmith and Retrain Weaponsmith?

If I unlearn Blacksmithing 300 (Armorsmith) completely, can I retrain and become a Weaponsmith in this patch on Kronos?

I've done lots of research on the web and find tons of conflicting responses to this. Looking for people that have done it on Kronos and can confirm that its possible.

I will not be much of a help, but if I remember, there was a certain way to unlearn just the "x-smith" specialization without removing your Smithing skill. Some book or item in Dire Maul perhaps.

It has been over 7 years now though, so I may very well be confusing it with something else entirely.
