Dear community

While we wait for the new hardware to make its way through numerous countries to its final destination (no, it has not yet arrived), we have been working on a lot of changes which are excited for and would like to share with you!

First though, the bad news. Again, the hardware has not yet arrived. They have confirmed shipment, but after 5 days, they told us there would be a week delay. We know that it is on its way to the server host, but it has a long way to go. As soon as we know the date, we will post it ASAP.

Your latency should be much better now however, we are still receiving serious DDoS attacks many times per day (oh yes, it is really real, more than 3 weeks of DDoS, somebody loves us for sure). Thanks to the new providers and server location, we are able to sustain such an attack, sometimes at the cost of short term network loss and a bit higher latency, but we are able to now keep services running 95% of time.

We have been receiving countless complaints of accounts being hacked. While we are able to alleviate many of these issues, a far simpler method of protection would be to change your account info. This is especially true for anyone who has played or signed up on another project, and used the exact same username and password for their Kronos account. Some of these other servers may not be keeping your information safe, making it extremely easy for compromise of your new or old Kronos account. So please, if you have played or signed up on another project, make sure you do NOT use the same account info on Kronos. Also, please only use the Client from our personal website, never from a third party!

Finally, we know the web server has been having issues. Some players have had issues with the account activation system, and the account manager itself. We are currently working on a fix which we will tell you about in the ....

*Drum Roll*

Good news! Twinstar and Project Kronos will be getting a serious web server hardware upgrade! Both sites will be running much more smoothly, and most of the issues people are having with account activation and management will be fixed. We also have a team of professional coders working on a completely new manager, which should be completed in approximately two months. This new manager will have many new features that we think you will enjoy, as well as giving you an error free experience!

With the new web server, we will also be introducing our very own IRC! This private IRC will allow us to keep everything secure and under our own control. We will be able to track anyone using the IRC for malicious intent, and permanently remove them. The new IRC will be ready in about 2 days. We will have our own web client a few days later (maybe even the same day). Everything will be encrypted and we will never log any communications!

The blue bar boss has been defeated! We have restructured our whole network schema and settings and one of the things we have fixed was the loading screen bug, which has been driving us crazy for the last few weeks. Latency and all such problems should be improved as well. Once the new server hardware arrives, the latency issues should be a thing of the past.

All in all, we here at Twinstar have been working very hard, around the clock, to regain our footing and better protect ourselves in the future. We appreciate you, the players, most of all, for without your undying support, none of this would be possible! Everything we have done, and will do, is because of you, so give yourselves a big pat on the back (we know it has been a long and difficult journey). As a little reward for your patience, keep an eye out for the official Kronos Ahn'Qiraj Trailer, due to be released next Sunday!

Great work. But now that theres a queue any chance of having a grace period if you get disconnected so you dont have to get into a long queue if you are in a dungeon or something. :) like 5 min or so.

thanks for the update, please keep us in the loop with clear constant updates in future, no update for 2 weeks when the servers were in this condition is not a good thing.

once again thanks for the hard work behind the scenes.

Kronos has gona down hill, catering to nos people who could give two shits about kronos before there beloved server went down. Not only that but they still bitch and complain about the server that took them in. Better off getting rid of K2 server and saying screw nos and go back to the way things were.

Ok thanx for the protection support, can you please now support me to get my neck for what I worked alot, I cant right now, because the darkmoon npc is not in Org and cant get the quest, more details here: https://forum.twinstar.cz/showthread.php/111976-One-question-about-Darkmoon
