For example,

Does Zandalar trinket or other temporarily spell damage trinkets benefit higher ticks on my Curse of Agony and Corruption spells?

1. Dot a mob, watch the ticks.
2. Dot a mob, watch the ticks, activate trinket, watch the ticks.
3. Activate trinket, dot a mob, watch the ticks.

If you have trouble reading the combat log because it gets spamed so fast, look for the addon EavesDrop.

I did all that already....

I don't seem to notice a difference...

However, I want statistics

You just have to take pen and paper or open a notepad, write down for how much damage the dots ticked for each situation (1,2,3) and then sum them up for every case.

Eulo, ZHC doesn't increase dot damage, Talisman of Ephemeral Power does.

They're right about checking for yourself though.
I'd suggest bonus values scanner (something like that) and casterstats, it should change the damage total on your tooltip, IE before/ after amplify curse -> agony

ZHC should increase it though, if it doesn't than thats a bug.
ToEP works fine for me.

My computer died for good, can't check as to current status

but beforehand with zhc buff up it would not affect dot damage, and fairly sure it didn't consume a charge, only direct damage and first tic or two with aoe.
