Afaik guild members are unlimited.
Friends are limited to 100.
Ignored are limited to 20.

PS: If you need more, some addons provide options to ignore or befriend more.

Oh cool, I always thought guilds were limited to 500.

As far as I've read retail vanilla actually had a limit on guild members, the devs didn't know though and it was found out by accident through an in-game protest.
