hello, i'm pretty new to wow and this is the first time i try to play on vanilla and a rogue.
i don't care about the faster way to levelling or to be at the top on the dps meter in 5 man dungeons.
what i enjoy the most is doing world pvp while levelling, since i've played only a bit on cata and on the new expansions i find a bit complex to setup the talents.
what i want, as i say in the title, is a pure pvp spec (or not too much hybrid/pve oriented) that use daggers and subtlety (if this is the pvp tree in vanilla) for doing world pvp while levelling.
if you can told me how to setup the talents every 5 levels and if there are importants quests for gear to get, will be the best.

also i don't know if there are professions bonus in vanilla, i wil get for sure engineering when i hit 60, but for start? a classic skinning/lw or there are better options?

tyvm for the time you will use for reply in this topic :)

Hi!

This is just a suggestion, if anyone has improvements or comments I'll be happy to take criticism.

This talent build gives you a lot of nice bonuses from the subtlety tree which is nicely suited for pvp, your ambush and backstabs will REALLY hurt with this build. The premeditation and preparation are also awesome - free combo points and a cooldown refresher. Considering how strong rogue cooldowns are they can really help you get out of a sticky situation. Along with this we take improved gouge - this is nice both for setting up backstabs but also for those times you need to gouge + bandage. Improved sprint will come in handy for catching up to people who slow/kite you. Lightning reflexes and ghostly strikes can really save your life when dueling melee classes. We also take a couple of points in assassination, flat percentages are always nice. 10% extra eviscerate damage and 5% extra crit will make a noticable difference.

Mining + engineering can be nice when leveling. You get bombs you can use to stun people with, and you can also make some really nice headgear.

hello, tyvm for your input.
after i read a bit the talent tree i think i was misteken about subtlety, a lot of dmg and utility come from the assassination tree too.
things i don't like about your build are 5/5 lightning reflexs, improved sprint and setup because i think there are more powerful talents to pick, with initiative and ruthlessness i think i can generate enough combo points.
is all theorical because i don't know the game, but i come up with this build, what do you think?

do the rest yourself, hah, you should know when you get there.
I'd probably put the leftover points in hit but for pvp you dont need all that much, 5% I believe.

Dagger spec, so opportunity and remorseless attacks are a must have, and you wont always get a chance to backstab so imp sinister is nice to have just in case.

After that fill out the points in the combat tree, and then personally I would fill out assassination but if you're the sneaky type (you lose time stealthing around) then focus on the sub tree first. you can pretty much chain crit everything

Edit -

that's more of a pve leveling oriented spec you can pvp with, plus a nice dungeon spec, not the best raid spec cause of remorseless attacks.

Bonus - here's a dagger raiding spec:

I never specced into riposte, not needed. Bettet have improved sprint and evasion for example.
