Other I keep reading how Alliance Warlocks are a current need

Why is this? I understand they are underpopulated due to WotF for Undead, but how come raids need them? What do they provide that Mages/Rogue and other DPS can't? Not bashing or anything, just trying to understand what makes them a desirable class at the moment.

Warlocks are brought for banish, fear, curses and soulstones.

Also the fact they are the TOP dps caster once they get geared. A team of 6 warlocks will out dps any other class with the exception of fury warriors once you get to AQ40/Naxx. We've had 6k+ crits on non vuln bosses, im sure other guilds with a more developed warlock core see those far more often than we do.
