The Guards aren't doing anything besides hampering the people trying to defend themselves from unkillable, or in some cases unreachable snipers. It's fun and games for a little while but some people can't give it a rest.

You don't want to implement a knockback, that's fine, but at least give players a way to defend themselves besides skipping town entirely or finding questionable LoS.


Lower Aggro range? Reduce Guards? Remove Charge / Snap Kick ability?
Perhaps it could be coded so Guards will only attack the player initiating combat, sparing a player that would be retaliating in defense.

I understand that some time ago it was decided that battleground instances and open world combat would be judged under different terms, but I'm arguing that since changes were made based on character models getting into unreachable areas that certain other races couldn't, that abusing blink or using mc cap to bring a non mage where they couldn't ordinarily path is alongside the same terms for change.
Not everyone can reach some areas, and those areas should be looked into, if no other changes be made.

Please consider changes, make the server a little less unpleasant to play on.

It is just funny to see how some people are so low that they get their self confidence by safe spot killing others.
 
There was a talk about it in discord a few months ago. Lot's of solutions were brought up, but no one cared enough to change anything.

Just give guards 100y deathcoil dealing 2k damage.
