Kronos has had the same problem, just with Czech players.

1) Sorry but if i'm not mistaken czechs play with english clients? This makes them know all of the game mechanics in english.

2) czechs don't dub everything in movies, series and news reports in their own language like french, italians and spanish speakers do am i wrong? This really negatively affects english passive and active knowledge. Correct me if i'm wrong. I can speak french np though, but not everyone in europe.
Correct me if i'm being ignorant.

The english speaking part of the population is way bigger in france than in the czech republic (relative numbers).

1) Yes, you are right. There is no czech client.

2) No, you are wrong. Almost all popular movies, series and news are dubbed. Especially in public TV there are only dubbed movies and series. But newer generation prefers originally dubbed movies and series with czech subs only. So they have to borrow them from TPB ;)

Would be awesome if both Kronos and Nostalrius merged. It would really make the experience awesome for players. I want to progress through the expansions, without having to reroll on a different realm/server, which is why I like nostalrius. But kronos is looking good content wise for vanilla. I hope they can work something out.

No, we don't know how original simpsons voices  But anyway, nearly every person in czech rep beneath 30 years have at last basic knowledge of english. And being forced to play with english client will teach everyone basics.

Well, since you mentioned Archaica, you should know there was another merge attempt between Valkyrie and Archaica. archive.org has only the first page of the discussion topic.

http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Valkyrie-WoW has also some false info, Archaica never actually merged into Valkyrie. There were big talks about it on the forum and later a jabber chatroom was established to sort out the details. But it didn't end well - both sides didn't want to let go of their precious server.
IIRC Black_One didn't trust the Valkyrie management from the start + he refused to move from mystiq.org gaming site, where Archaica was stationed at that time, instead he wanted Valkyrie to move under mystiq.org, which was not really justified in my eyes (Valkyrie was already bigger than Archaica, even if mostly Russian). Of course Valkyrie admins did not agree to move under mystiq.org either, which I completely understand. A post from Archaica's head admin is also archived, so you can read Black_One's statement for yourself.

PS: on another side note, there is a web that aims to translate WoW client into czech and slovak language. I once tried one of it's early versions, but I couldn't stop laughing as I played, because the czech translations sound very funny to me
