He is playing the game how he wants within the rules laid out by Activision Blizzard. I agree that is lame and anti-social way of playing the game, but he is not hurting anyone else by playing that way. This is what this game was meant to be right... Just so blizz were getting so much money from ONE individual they were fine with it, but its still is lame way of playing the game.
WoW has always been a game that you could choose to play from 1 to 60 solo, I don't think leveling is a competition. What part of WoW would a multiboxer be competitive at?This was multiplayer game, not some singleplayer rpg where you control more chars, but some need more chars to stay competitive it seems.
I don't think leveling is a competition.

And as for the staff being more active on these forums, I just think there's too much talk about unimportant stuff, too many prophets worrying about stuff that may not even happen and too many people saying the same over and over (and over) again.
5+ threads on experience rates, possibly more than 30 pages together, with two or three opinions being mindlessly repeated as if pokemons were talking to each other. Or 4 threads, 27 pages, on multiboxing... both are topics nearly as old as the game itself and it's hardly unlikely that anyone will bring a fresh interesting idea to the debate. Yet everyone feels the need to express himself, repeating what has already been said by the person above him and pretty much making the discussion neverending. Even if it was to stop at some point, a new guy will just come the next day and open it up again, most likely in a different thread.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the reasons why the staff isn't as motivated to reply here. Even I, who like lurking on these forums, grew tired of the vast amount of new posts and threads and started to simply ignore a good amount of them.
If that would be truly one of the reasons staff was unmotivated to post, then this would be already heading in a bad direction. Passionate developers and community managers yearn and love forum activity, it means their community is in love, anxious, and passionate about what you are creating or bringing to them.
Discussion should be welcomed and promoted, not frowned upon. If everyone's just posting their opinion and the next guy saying "I also have that opinion" it just reinforces the sense of community, it's not like you have trolls or rude people around here, I certainly didn't see any yet on the Kronos specific forums at least.
Everyone's voicing their opinion because they are excited and simultaneously worried about this project - it is a forum anyway, a place specifically made for the purpose of debate and discussion. I wished my retail guild's forum was half as active as this one is, being the guild founder I would actually love to see people as passionate about the events - contests and prize givings we create in that guild - as these guys are.
But why am I bothering posting my opinion, it adds nothing new to the conversation apparently.
one of the reasons they pop up so much is because there is no conclusive answer
I'm not sure you understood. I was talking about threads where there are 200 replies, of which 120 are "hurrrr 1x rates are best" and 80 are "durrrr 1x rates are not best". Your post does not qualifyBut why am I bothering posting my opinion here, it adds nothing new to the conversation apparently.
