Hunter New Hunter with question about pets

Pet dmg and PvP. Why do people have Broken Tooth? Shouldent a pet with let say 2 sec attack speed as Sian-Rotam do more burts. Just like a slow weapon have higher number than a fast?
I can understand the 1 sec against casters for interupt casting. But shouldent slow pet do higher burst?

Thx it helps a bit. But still:

Do a pet at lvl 60 with 2 sec attack speed have higher topend attack dmg than a cat with 1 sec. So the dps is almost the same. Or do all cats have same low and top en dps no mather speed?

Faster it hit, more the pushback on spell cast annoys casters. Damage isnt the point here.
