Tailoring Pattern: Robes of Arcana. anyone gotten one of the geomancers?

Just looking for a simple yes to if anyone has gotten the tailoring pattern robes of arcana from the geomancers in thousand needles.

Reading the wowhead comments on the pattern, it does seem that it was able to drop from Grimtotem in Thousand Needles (which makes sense considering it would be restricted to ally zones otherwise and difficult for Horde to obtain at proper level).

It is good to use the web archives but vanilla did not happen in 2010. And Wowhead is quite recent too.

April 2005, Allakhazam, pattern only drops from 2 creatures, no geomancers.

March 2006, Allakhazam, Grimtotem geomancers do not drop it.

On a side note, this is vanilla, spiders and oozes can parry attacks, boars only have livers 10% of the time, quests send you to the other side of the world for no reason, etc. In this situation what "makes sense" is a weak argument (although still one, and absolutely useful in some situations, albeit not this one).

On nost it dropped from those guys just figured id ask if it was the same way here. Guess its farming those crappy mages in tower of althalaxx :(
 
I don't get it. What is it with these damn robes? I see this pattern on the AH for 10 freakin gold for, quite frankly, some rather crappy robes that aren't any better than an easily obtained random world drop.

you need it for a quest to get a blue robe.
 
The Mobs inside of the Tower of Althalaxx in Northern Darkshore was the only Source for the Pattern in Classic.
The Rate was really low so you could spend Hours farmin for.
