didnt you mean, "added" ? i t thing theres not any spectral beasts on vanilla to be tamed.

The damnest thing is that it's hard to find old mobs/models/etc. because there's no where that's really not updated (WoWhead and so forth) Unless there was an old archived version of such ones.

Edit: I thought they had this model in Ashenvale somewhere?

Added in TBC! Could be found in Dustwallow Marshes at the evil tauren
If i remember right... u were supposed to have a priest with u to summon the pet (mindcontroll) and you had to be really fast since it disappeared after about 15 seconds or so!

Holy moly, ok.

I thought it was there in vanilla too for some reason. Guess not.

You was able to tame it with high amount of haste + bloodlust because it despawn faster then tame best
