Just what it says. I know it came in later patches but Im sure many would like to see it in game if possible.

Also the fishing hat was good for twinks. I see only positive sides on this, prove me wrong.

I prefer Stranglethorn Killing Extravaganza, but hey, fishing is nice too.

So what are some of the things you can win from this?
Never was a fisher until MoP and I quit soon after.

The event is held every Sunday from 2pm-4pm server time. The turn-in NPCs are available until 5pm server time.

The contest is to be the first to catch 40 [Speckled Tastyfish] and to turn them in in Booty Bay.

The winner can pick one of:

• [Arcanite Fishing Pole] - the best fishing pole in the game, +35 Fishing Skill

• [Hook of the Master Angler] - a trinket that grants you a swim form

If you happen to catch a certain kind of rare fish in those 2 hours you can get:

- Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots (+5 fishing)
- Lucky Fishing Hat (+5 fishing)
- High Test Eternium Fishing Line (+5 fishing enchant on fishing pole)

You can also catch a Rockhide Strongfish, arguably the coolest mace ingame.

SO why is it 3pm - 6pm server time nowadays?

Becase of daylight saving (summert time), there is one hour difference. But its wierd if server time showing CEST and this using CET.
