WotF is alright, but as an Alliance warlock, you just bait them and wait a few seconds, time your second fear cast to finish after the immunity ends.

Ofc, skill will still win you a 1v1 vs Undead Warlocks, but if both players are skilled, you can get the advantage with WotF.

Pre shadow warding and getting the first banish off gives you all the advantage you need
Can't really remember any situation when wotf came out on top in a warlock 1v1, although when any undead is chasing the FC it's real annoying.
If anything that shadow resist and cannibalism healing gives more of an advantage than wotf.
Hell there's so many variables to warlock 1v1, it's on about par with rogue 'move / counter move' 1v1 imo, just with more abilities, offensive and defensive.
