Dear Players,

Today’s news marks the beginning of something new and memorable for the entire private WoW community. Our project has gone through many changes since it first started, and although that seems like forever ago, it really was just the beginning.

As you all know, players are the most important part of every project in the private WoW scene. Servers require a healthy population and participation from players in order to thrive, and to keep the staff dedicated and motivated to working on the project. In the past, our projects have always focused on a small region in central Europe. We saw many other projects come and go, but as time went on, only ours remained.

With the success that Kronos has seen, we decided to take a step back and look at Artemis — our main project. Artemis is currently on the Cataclysm expansion but it has only been open to a small region of players. When looking at what the international Cataclysm scene has to offer, we’ve ultimately found that our project is of the highest quality, and that we have been doing a disservice to the community by not making Artemis available to players around the world.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, let us be very clear.

We will be launching a New International Cataclysm Realm

Why a new server you ask? We want to offer all of our players (new and veterans alike) a chance to start together on a realm that has already had significant development work completed, where many issues have been resolved. You can see a list of locations that have been fully scripted, tested, and are ready for questing here : PvE Locations

A name has not been decided for our new realm, but we’re discussing a number of possibilties and we will let you know as soon as we decide.

Some of the next major steps for us are to prepare a new “face” for this project. You can expect to see major changes to our website, forum, facebook page (english version), and account manager. Every communication channel that we use will be reviewed and updated. Raising awareness around this new project is one of our top priorities, so please join us on Discord and Facebook and help spread the word!

We invite everyone who is interested to come to test the current functionality of our Cataclysm realm on the Artemis server (primarily CZ/SK), which was launched in April 2014. You’re also welcome to explore our PTR, but do keep in mind that since it’s used for testing that it will not be as stable or polished as the live realm.

An exact launch date for the international Cataclysm realm has not been decided yet, but will be announced shortly. We are looking at dates only a few months out at most.

In order to guarantee the continuation and preservation of your characters, you should know that this project will not end with Cataclysm.

Yes… YES… Mists of Pandaria

You will overthrow new obstacles, gain new achievements and you will get to know everything new that has been brought by this expansion. It will be a long journey, we know that, but we are committed to taking the community there!

We are already looking forward to our shared journeys.

Dear players,

In today’s article we want to provide answers to the enormous amount of questions you have raised after we announced the launch of our new international Cataclysm realm along with the subsequent upgrade to the Mists of Pandaria expansion.

The first thing that had to be decided was the name of the new realm. Internal discussions and two rounds of voting among team members led to the elimination of all suggestions except for one.

The new international Cataclysm realm will be called

This new realm will also have its separate webpage and Facebook page, which will be launched soon.

The most important information and also the question you have been asking most is the date of the launch. It is always very tricky to settle on a specific day. However, we do not want to keep you in suspense as it would not have any purpose. Quite the opposite – our aim is to grant every and each one of you enough time to get ready for this major event.

The date was chosen with regard to how we want to run this realm. At the moment, we think it is the right time to try to create a realm that will be unique on the free WoW scene. It is a great opportunity, and since we have all the Cataclysm content ready (except the final one, which will be finished soon) we want to take advantage of it. So, what are we talking about?

Those of you who are familiar with the history of the Cataclysm expansion know that it was launched almost seven years ago. We are going to take you back to 2010 and Cataclysm beginnings and launch the CLONE OF THE OFFICIAL CATACLYSM SERVERS, meaning the date of the launch and subsequent releasing of all the expansion’s content, world events etc. will be taking place just as it was on the official servers.

The launch of our Cataclysm clone is scheduled for the day when patch 4.0.3 was released on the official servers, i.e.

16 November 2017

Now that we know the day of the launch, we can announce another important dates concerning releasong Cataclysm content:

16 November 2017realm launch (BWD, BoT, ToTFW, first boss in BH, Vicious PvP)

26 April 2018patch 4.1 (Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub)

28 June 2018patch 4.2 (Firelands + Molten Front, Ruthless PvP)

29 November 2018patch 4.3 (Dragon Soul, End Time, Well of Eternity, Hour of Twilight, Cataclysmic PVP)

Of course, there are lot of things that could thwart our plans. We do hope, however, that we can overcome all obstacles and the aforementioned schedule will be met.

And what is the current situation? Right now, we are doing our best to get ready for the launch. Core developers are working on the first Cataclysm instances: We are simultaneously fine-tuning Bastion of Twilight (two bosses done), Blackwing Descent (two bosses done) and five-man dungeons (first of them done). Throne of the Four Winds is next in line. Database developers are currently working on Deepholm and some minor adjustments in Hyjal and Twilight Highlands. In addition, we are also dealing with changes that come with different Cataclysm patches – vendors, item drop etc.

From now until the November launch, we will do our best to fix as many bugs as possible in instances, mechanisms and other gameplay elements. After that, we will focus again on finishing the 4.3 content.

And then? It is not too hard to guess: while players will be enjoying adventures on the new international Cataclysm realm, our developers will be working on the Mists of Pandaria expansion…

Dear players,

Time is quickly passing as we prepare for the release of the Hades project. We have some specific details of the project that we think are important, and we would like to share them with you.

The release date for Hades has been set for 16.11.2017 (November 16th), when we will launch on the 4.0.3 patch.

On that date, you will be able to create a new character and begin your journey; gaining experience, completing quests, exploring the world, and fighting your way through dungeons and battlegrounds.

Thanks to your testing on the Artemis PTR, and the issues that you've reported, we've been able to complete work on a significant amount of content. Prior to the launch we will be doing huge database and core fixes for zones including Deepholm and Twilight Highlands. Magmaw, Chimaeron (Blackwing Descent), Halfus Wyrmbreaker a Valiona & Theralion (Bastion of Twilight) are already finished. We've even completed a full rework for the dungeons Lost City of Tol'Vir and The Vortex Pinnacle.

The status of all locations is shown in this complete overview.

Three weeks after the launch of Hades, all of the Cataclysm content will be released in its entirety. Mount Hyjal, Vashj'ir, Deepholm, Uldum and Twilight Highlands will be opened, along with all dungeons, raid instances, and battlegrounds.

The date will be 7.12.2017 (December 7th). For those who climb to level 80 before then, you may find your journey briefly suspended until that date.

The race for the "Realm First" achievements will begin soon!

Non-gameplay influencing mechanics such as Transmogrification and Void Storage will be enabled at launch. Reforging is a feature, which was released with patch 4.0.1, and because of that it will be available at the launch of Hades as well (with the 4.3 UI of course).

Some other questions we've been asked are answered below in our FAQ.

Q: Do you plan to allow XP rate changes for the 1-80 level range?
A: No, x1 XP rate is strictly set for the whole level range.

: Will you allow characters to be transferred between Artemis (or any other realm) to the Hades project?
A: At this time there are no plans to allow character transfers.

: What will happen for the launch of the Mists of Pandaria expansion?
A: We will specify more details about the next expansion as it becomes relevant

: What client version will I need for the Hades gameplay?
A: 4.3.4

Will it be possible to gain XP in battlegrounds?
A: Certainly. We've created a handy graph that shows XP values for battlegrounds.

Our team has put together some great quest videos, highlighting the quality of gameplay and questing you can expect to see while wandering the Hades realm.

You can now follow us on Facebook where we will be continuously posting additional announcements and sharing information.

We are looking forward to sharing your experiences on Hades.
