When moderators have 1600 bugreports that are "New", 200 that "Need info", multiple tickets, multiple bugreports with open-ended questions or that can be interpretated, blacklisted topics to manage, forum posts with connection issues, bug reports or questions, personal messages, an IRC chat to follow and etc. it may not be that easy.
Now, yes they have priorities (like ZG, which is a lot of different things, like timers), but anything that makes their job shorter/easier helps. They are not a hundred.
That's not to say that we should do all the moderators and developers work. But with bugreports that are already spread out all over the place, with over 50 different kinds of potential issues and bugs on a bugreport I argue that efforts also lie on our side.
