Almost ready for release , but we need your help!

Not sure if this is really a bug, noggenfogger should work on druid forms too. You sure this is not something they changed in TBC?
 
Exploits I know from other servers and are not reported yet (or I just didn't see them :D):

- The tribute chest in DM North respawns, so you can loot it more often (or it is even already spawned before killing the king and a rogue can loot it with sap/blind)
- In the DM the book always spawns at the same position (library) so nearly anyone with some cc was able to farm the book through DM north entrance
- There was one of the emerald dream dragons in feralas, who had a way too big hitbox, so you can stand behind a pillar while hitting him as a meelee. On this way you were able to avoid his spells while still being able to attack
- Big and little palabuffs stack (so a tank could get a 15min and 5min bok for example)
- Not an exploit, but a very nasty bug wich is hopefully fixed here: The doors in BRD get closed (room in summoners tomb and in the tavern for example)
 
- Tribute doesn't respawn
- It spawns randomly
- You can't attack through walls
- similar pally buffs overwrite each other
- doors used to work perfectly fine
 
I'm have no experience at all when it comes to programming, or whatever it's called fixinging bugs/optimizing a server, so I'm wondering the following:

All these bugs fixed which are shown in the update films coming from Kronos every now and then; do we know that these bugs are actually fixed forever? Could they return even though they've been tended once and confirmed fixed? Like for instance when you have your light bulb changed cause it's expired and then a while later you have to do it again?

Well, according to one of the dev posts. Mangos is not perfect emulator. It's core does not use whole blizzlike scripting so many things are fixed by worarounds. Basicaly, it means that fixing one thing may break another.

The good thing is, that Chero is trying to improve the core to the blizzlike state so there will not be need for these workarounds and so the possibility, that one fix breaks another will be lowered.
 
There is always a chance that something breaks again.
If that is the case it usually gets fixed 1 more time pretty fast.
Check reopened issues on Twinhead then you get what I mean :)
 
I think i know 1 bug Q.
On Orc/troll staring zone Quest with name ""Lazy Peon's"" or something.U must hit and wake up 5 sleeping peon's.THe bug was-If some1 do this Q...the Peon's never go sleep before server crash(so no1 can this quest if some1 do it after crash or something).They must go sleep after 1-2 min i think...after some1 hit them :smile:
 
I don't know if this has been addressed anywhere, but I believe that hunter pets should respawn with the hunter in battlegrounds. As it is if your pet dies, then you die, your pet will still be dead after you are rezzed by the spirit.

I think that's how it worked back in vanilla, but I could be wrong.
 
It should and works this way. It's mentioned somewhere in patch notes (don't remember exact patch)

Starting Solakar event with a rogue with a warlock summon already active. Rogue vanishes and accepts the summon and cancels stealth, all spawn waves chase after him allowing raid to kill them in a much easier way. Same method can be used in several different events.

But seriously; with 5 Instance/Hour limit, correct boss fights, solid doors and objects we will have much less abuse than any other server. Well done.:thumbup1: Cant think of any other serious exploits.
 
Pvp rewards (pots etc.) can be used everywhere

Scholomance: Alexei Barov´s adds can be pulled alone (body pull), the adds should be linked with alexei

BWL: -Missing Loot -> Shaman t2 boots, Warrior t2 wrists
- Suppresion Room respawn and active traps while Lashlayer is down

class skill: [Paladin] Hammer of Wrath -> no spell damage added

Baron Rivendare: Door doesn´t close after starting combat

Feared players run in another direction as they are shown

Have you guys checked pet pathing? Hunter and lock pets

On ED you could pull general drakkisath from the UBRS/LBRS entrance. Pets dont follow any pathing 'rules' If the player can /target the mob, he can /attack and the pet would travel the entire instance to go get him, then you can pull him back. Pretty cheesy.
 
I believe the goal of this thread was to figure out any possible EXPLOITS that players run into on other servers. People have begun to mention bugs, I would say keep it to exploits only.
 
Then u Log out front door and when u go log in for 1 sec u can walk into the door without key or something(I use that for AQ :biggrin: )
 
Campfires started by flagged players flag other players

ex: level 5 alt in ironforge runs to AH, toggles pvp on, and makes a campfire
now all the afk 60s in the AH are flagged
rogues come in and clean up

Cuergo's Gold quest in Tanaris

on ED/RB you can click on the landmark infinite times and itll spawn 3 pirates at level 45 per click that are close enough for a frost mage to farm/grind (1400 hp each, can spawn like 60ish in total before it starts hurting your pc). these also have a chance of dropping greens/blues/epics

The mobs on Purgation Isle on ED at release had 900 hp, and hit for 30-60 damage at level 54-56 and were tagged as elites and gave elite xp. very quick grind.

The elementals in Arathi, on ED they drop items (100% chance I believe) which kills another type of elementals, and you still have full XP for this kill. I don't know, maybe it's Blizzlike, but looks like a little bad exploit.
 
- What about Razorfen Downs? There are 2 events bosses inside and on ED they didn't work.
- On ED sometimes happen that mobs don't drops object, but they give double XP (boss too) and double number reward for killing quests...

- did the escorting quest in Razorfen Kraul works fine?

I have personally tested both instances. Razorfen Downs, the Gong event works completely. So make sure to have newer members not hit that gong until you are ready! The escort event is also completely functionally. He patrols to the area, mobs begin spawning etc etc until the boss; A brazier then appears and you turn in the quest to the brazier to get the dragonclaw ring.

The final event in WC works. Once the fanglords are dead, you can talk to the disciple. He patrols and mobs spawn along the way (he does the whole cleansing in the center of the torches thing too, where 3 elite adders spawn). In the final room you face 2 waves of enemies then the boss.

The final WC event does have a couple of issues. Right now the murloc doesn't spawn in the water, instead he spawns almost directly on the altar. You can also talk to Naralex for some reason, when you shouldn't be able to. These are relatively minor issues, and they should be fixed soon. See the bugtracker for additional information.
