Ok I'm going to make another thread for this chat since the other is kil.
For everyone who doesn't know about our bracket...Both sides have very strong guilds that are active on the daily and plan 15v15 ABs and 10v10 WSG games on the regular. "Almost Thirty" is the alliance side guild, while on the other side "Nightmare on Elf Street". No dodging premades like 60s and no boring stall games like at 19.
So why make a 29? It is cheap...very cheap to be effective. A lot of money does not have to be put into a character in order for you to be effective in a game. Lots of very good gear can be picked up via dungeon runs and also quests. This is much different then at 19 where gear is the determinant in almost all the fights. Secondly, the ability to have many more skills and also the engineering factor (225...240 for gnomes) lends itself to much more competitive games and aids a different dynamic to the BGs.
I just wanted to make this thread in order to spring some interest in the bracket, as we are always looking for new faces. At the moment the horde side could really use some strong active players to help fill their gaps and contend with the alliance when they are at their strongest.
