I reviewed the Xperl functions for colouring the guild- and who tabs and rewrote them into a separate, standalone addon.

Never seen that addon before but looking at it yes, it's essentially the same with a few minor differences.

• It specifies it's own colours, I use the ones from default raid frames
• It disables if you have non enUS or enGB version, I think mine will work in every locale, though I havn't tried
• It disables if you have Xperl, I do no such check
• It changes the who list as well, mine doesn't, though it probably should come to think of it.

They are extremely similar since both are copies of Xperl, so there's no real reason to pick one over the other.

Here is an update that also colours the who frame. Credit to Aviana for some of the function names.
