First pretending that 1x rates is "the real deal" and then trying everything possible to exploit faster EP gain.

He asked us to post exploits we knew, not to wring our hands about people using them. I never used the exploit, but it exists on ED and I posted it here so that it gets fixed.
 
I think i know 1 bug Q.
On Orc/troll staring zone Quest with name ""Lazy Peon's"" or something.U must hit and wake up 5 sleeping peon's.THe bug was-If some1 do this Q...the Peon's never go sleep before server crash(so no1 can this quest if some1 do it after crash or something).They must go sleep after 1-2 min i think...after some1 hit them :smile:

On Fenix server they go to sleep but only after 5 min.I call it 5 min curse,cause all of quest stuff there got this 5 min CD.That should not be like that at all.The CD should be around minute or less.And lots of stuff like the quest book in SM and also one quest chest in BFDeeps got this 5 min CD but they supposed to be instant.There is a big trouble with em when the whole group got the quest,that was some kind of 30minutes nightmare:laugh:u have to wait 5 minutes after each loot, while the whole group looting this item.

A few hunter related exploits on feenix' Emerald Dream, may have been mentioned.

  • Sometimes some mobs will not aggro when hit with ranged attacks, they will simply stand still and take the beating. I know for a fact this happens with Devilsaurs and the horde lieutenants outside Galvangar's keep in AV.
  • Shadowmeld and stealth is utterly broken on Emerald Dream. Hunters are able to use auto-shoot while in Shadowmeld without losing stealth. Stealth only breaks upon finishing a cast. You're also able to use shadowmeld + shoot to sometimes only pull the targeted mob.
  • Hunters and warlocks are able to put their pet within the leash range of a mob and then make the mob run between the pet and the hunter by moving in and out of the leash range. I don't know if this is supposed to be this way.
  • Hunters are also able to pull two or more mobs, freezing trap one mob and then feign death to reset all but the trapped mob. Attack the trapped mob before the trap expires and you'll only have aggro of the trapped mob. Don't know if this is intended either. It does cause some hilarities over by the Rhok'Delar demon in Un'goro on Emerald Dream though. Each time somebody uses this method to only pull the demon and reset the demon's pet, the pet does not despawn. At this point there's probably 100 pets following the demon, although far behind her.
  • You can break a lot of mob packs' leashing by pulling and resetting with feign death. You can then pull one by one. Same issue as in BRD I assume.

Some other hunter related concerns:
  • Is Freezing Trap affected by heartbeat resist? Think I might've seen you answer "yes" to this, if so, good :)
  • If your pet remains dead for a while, it will be dismissed. On some vanilla servers it loses happiness both by dying and the dismiss. This shouldn't happen.
  • Immobilizing effect caused by Imp Wing Clip could break if the target was hit on ED.
  • Assuming pets don't scale with the hunter's stats?
  • Does Lupos do shadow dmg?
  • Does rooting make you unable to Auto-shoot?
  • On ED you were often put into combat again after using feign death so quickly that you were unable to use traps, how's this on Kronos? Note, feign death shouldn't make you able to avoid AoE effects.
  • Does the hunter t2 8/8 set bonus stack when applied by different hunters?
  • Assuming feign death won't suddenly become unusable until you relog like it does on ED?
  • I saw somebody here write that pets won't be able to attack targets they can't see, does that mean you cannot send your pet to attack that target if it is out of line of sight of the hunter?
  • Eagle eye is broken on ED. When you start moving away from the point you stood when you used eagle eye mobs will not phase in.
  • Assuming pets stop running after a target if it becomes stealthed?

That's all I could think of right now, fucking tired of all the bugs on ED. I probably reposted a lot of problems you are aware of/have fixed, so sorry about that. And I guess this thread was for exploits specifically, but oh well.
 
Idk if someone said this already simply because I did not read every comment... but it kinda sucks on some servers as a melee class when you hit a mob the first couple times then it resets... (sucks for rogue cause you waste stealth).

Does not happen as much with ranged/caster for some reason... but sometimes they will evade and reset...

Definatley makes it hard to level as melee class. This happened to me a lot leveling rogue and warrior on ED. I spoke with some guildies and they said they had the same problem from time to time, but we rolled with the punches I guess
 
-mob pathing
-los probs with mobs
-blink fall out of world
-broken chain quests/escorts/attunements
-many mage quest chains are broken on freeservers

On Valkyrie, using a warlock's Eye of Kilrogg and having the Eye terminated by an attacking NPC results in a disconnect from the server.

Again on Valkyrie, if you are disconnected from the server, you are often unable to chat in channels and pet classes' pet bars become unusable. The workaround is to ALT-F4 and reopen the client, sometimes necessitating rejoining chat channels manually.

First of all no... don’t tell me what to to ... second, it already has become one... this thread is a hype train nothing more. Gimmicks... nothin’ but gimmicks.
 
Restoration buff from battlegrounds takes long time to respawn. Like 5 min or so. Should be around 1 min.

Benediction quest on ED is a joke, the event doesn't work ... just kill the questgiver and wait for it to respawn for the quest to complete.
Hunter's can FD pull, which unlinks groups of mobs. you can pull and then FD so the group resets, you can then pull them 1 at the time?
Can mobs be kited into infinity? on ED kiting doesn't work so the hunter quest become very tricky ...
