Auction scanning issue

Every time I try to scan the auction house recently using either aux or auctioneer the scan crashes part of the way through. It crashes at different stages each time and won't let me restart the scan without relogging. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've tried different versions of auctioneer and aux, I've deleted addons/wtf/wdb and tried a fresh wow install.

Same issue here. It's like the server can't keep up with requests from the client, freaks out and stops talking to it. Very annoying and makes maintaining an upnto date DB a real pain.

I've been scanning about every other day the last few weeks and never had an issue (on k2, newest version of aux)
