Hax  of course GMs and previously applied Testers retain some extra commands, like the movespeed.

A little "Let's Play" for Kronos newcomers and/or The Defias Brotherhood fans and/or those who just got bored waiting for the release. English subtitles included :)

Nice video, the lore part was really interesting for me I don't much about that stuff.

The traitor sure pulled a lot of mobs! Wouldn't solo it like that!

Nim, leave that dwarf, flirt with my huntress in a dingy tavern...

Ahem, well done, I enjoyed the footage and the commentary, though I know no Russian. By the by, I always thought Perestroika meant reform. But, when I listened to your commentary, I realized it means to rebuild? It sort of makes sense, in fact. The narration was much fun!

Uhmm, was a bit busy myself the past few days, but yesterday I found the time to answer Zar's request for a retest of the Solenor the Slayer encounter. So, if you want to see the latest OPEN BETA footage and testing, you have my video report on this encounter below.

If you are interested in the rest of this quest-line, here is the entire series of recordings debugging it for our dev team.
Klinfran the Crazed (March 2nd) | No bugs!
Artorius the Doombringer (March 2nd) | Bug Tracker report
Simone the Seductress (March 2nd) | Bug Tracker report
Artorius the Doombringer (March 5th)
Artorius the Doombringer (March 10th)
Solenor the Slayer (March 11th) | Bug Tracker report
As you can see, Step 2 (Artorius the Doombringer) persists with its loot table issue. A fellow Hunter and I reported the problem, but Zar was then unable to reproduce it. My guess is it is related to the distance we find ourselves at when the demon dies. I would ask here our other Hunters to lend a hand by helping us to confirm this bug.

Check the Bug Tracker reports linked above to stay up to date with the latest fixes.

Also an update on the Snares bugs I had recorded and explained in another thread. Chero fixed them!

Thank you! :blushing:
Nimeralina was my char on ED. She was in true love with one dwarf, that's why she left her home forests and changed her life... She tried to be more "dwarvish" - hunt for food, drink to become drunk... She couldn't just tell about her feelings - since elves used to live forever, they live slow, and it can take centuries before they'll make a declaration of love. Feenix banned me for God knows what reason... Nimeralina died somewhere in Desolace. That's why I've decided to revive "a version" of her here.

Perestroika means literally rebuild (pere=re, stroika=building). That's why Gorbachev named his reforms with the same word. I'm pleased that you've noticed :)

And your videos are great. Like the genre - professionally assembled clip, bugreport and promo-video all in one.

Thanks everyone for all kind words! I stop to offtop here now :)

Testing stuff with a level 60 Tauren druid, with gear being a mix of level 46-58 Greens that are quest rewards, mostly, with some crafted. I wanted to get a feel of what a bear or cat could do in modest gear and base it off of my memory from old Retail, in terms of damage and durability in fights.

I'm also testing out the Shadowplay software for video recording with an Nvidia card (GTX 750 ti sc in this case) on a crap dell optiplex 760 that's maxed (lol) on hardware. So far the best fit for recording is at 30fps, 1080 dpi, 30 bit rate without encoding errors.

Here's a video I made testing out my recording settings in freeing Rin'ji, the troll up in Hinterlands. This escort quest is known to be bugged on several mangos based 1.12.1 servers. In my humble opinion, this is really, really close to old retail.

(Edit - uploaded video at 720 dpi HD instead of 1080 dpi because I didn't feel like dealing with a 28 min upload time for a 5 min video. Lol. Yes, I used Handbrake software to trim down the file size. My internet Upload sucks.)

I don't have any videos of productive testing, but of one during late night downtime where a friendly GM gave us a temporary skin change.

you should really consider using open broadcaster software https://obsproject.com/ very lightweight for recording your games, i'm recording vanilla wow at native monitor res (1920x1080 60fps footage) with no hickups, even though saving to a slow storage hard drive. you can even achieve this using an external hard drive. recommend using at minimum the bitrate OBS suggests (something like 3000kb/s+) and 720p @ 30fps.

the program also has a "buffer" feature, meaning you press the record button, and it captures back in time (like in Grand theft auto). this way you don't have to record all the time, only when you realize you wanted to.

all that aside nice video making and commentary, you should make more :)
