Kronos benefits of starting here:

Just because the population is currently low, there are some very important things you should all be aware of if thinking of playing here. (or when someone asks why should I go Kronos instead of ....blah.. server)

Longterm service : This server won't close as multiple expansions run from their domain.
Server uptime : 99%+
Stability : Very stable, if a new crash-bug arises, it is fixed quickly.
Blizzlike / Fairness : Very. No gear upgrades by donations etc!
Scripting : High quality pve/pvp
Bufixing : Fast with a great bug tracker.
International : In-game announcements etc are always in English.

Kronos is a good choice ^

Yes this is something that was proven before. I remember during Kronos 2 Chero had some serious real life problems to deal and he couldn't work on the server during that time. For about 2 maybe 3 weeks. Server did not crashed even once and it never required a restart. It ran so smooth.
I will always have a sympathy for czech programmers , they gave us Farcry1/Crysis series remember?

^That. Crytek are Germans. Czech game developers made, for instance, ArmA series, Operation Flashpoint (the first one from 2001), Hidden & Dangerous, Mafia 1&2, Vietcong 1&2, Machinarium and a number of other, usually smaller games like Paranoia, Polda adventure series, Brány Skeldalu (Gates of Skeldal in EN), Horké Léto adventures (could be Hot Summer in EN) and some others.

Altar Games created UFO series (Aftermath, Aftershock and Afterlight) and a very sophisticated RTS Original War, which took place in deep prehistory and very well introduced concept of buildings and machines/vehicles requiring human crew to function properly - not many RTS games utilize this mechanic, sadly.

Nowadays, a Czech development studio Keen Software House is fairly known for Space Engineers (one of few games which used Early Access system in the correct and intended way), the guys are now working on Medieval Engineers. Dan Vávra's (a very known Czech game developer) studio Warhorse is developing a realistic medieval RPG called Kingdom Come: Deliverence.

So yeah, Czech programmers have some serious skills, but they did not make Far Cry nor Crysis

Apologies for going off-topic, just putting some facts to the side discussion about Czech game developers.
