Made a trailer, hope you like it!

The editing is not bad and quality is also good, but there is no sync with music at all. For example the scene with Deathwing - as a viewer I expected some epic music which didn't come, it punched me in the face actually  Also it has no connection to vanilla, but I give you "plus" for effort.

I've tried to edit few videos myself and I tell you guys, it's not as easy as it might look and it takes a hell of a time to create something at least decent.I like Hurricane's videos, he knows how to handle these kinds of stuffs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly7J6kS1b64 He operates on completely different level

Thanks for the constructive criticism. The music sync's up more then you think, the original trailer music which I used just doesn't pick up until the very end really. That video you posted is of a completely different subject matter all together, I honestly did not find it that impressive.

If you want to talk about editing, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gP_Q2myNWo , is the only thing worth bragging about and videos like it (there is about 5 I've seen total can PM for links). I am working on one of my own but I don't want to post it because people will repost it. But THAT is editing, no crap WoW video even holds a candle, which is why I was surprised everyone instantly hated on me for posting something. Vanilla fanboys that hate other WoW subjects, quite confusing really.

I don't really think that WoW video must be a crap just because WoW is an old game. It can be astonishing as any other, even though it's been made by using ingame footage. There is no such thing as a "crap source" in art.

They hated on you because they expected Kronos trailer. It has nothing to do with their interests in WoW subject in general.

The video by Khameleon808 you've posted is great and well done, but as you have pointed out, it's a different kind. These videos are (from the most part) made only by cuts and synchronization with music (nothing bad about it). Videos like the Hurricane's one are made also by using effects, layers, compositon of light etc. at least from what I can see... This is what I mean - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duGTi2xL3-o
I personally think it's a proper way to create trailer. You can't create new trailer by editing the old ones. It won't be the trailer anymore, it will become a music video.

Still thanks for posting Khameleon's work. I would gladly watch the other videos you've got, so PM links if you can  And keep editing if you like it. No matter what they say, I quite enjoyed your work.

When you experience negativity/criticism/hate from more then one source (in this case the Kronos and Nos forums). Then it is safe to say you have done something wrong. No point being annoyed or sad and everyone because the majority of the response was negative, take it on the chin and try better next time.

If you are going to learn to make videos and put them up on the internet for all to see then you are going to have to start growing some thick skin. Especially if you are going to widely advertise those videos.
