Okay I don't want to make a bug report yet, because I'm not actually 100% sure as I never played horde in retail really.

Are these supposed to be at the apothecarium in Undercity? They're there every time I go there. What are they?

 
Those are part of a mage quest that takes place in the apothicarium. Basically some elementals spawn and you have to damage them down and catch them in those containers.

Thanks for reply. If I find they're not despawning correctly I will raise in tracker.
