While I'm leveling a shaman, I've been trying to come up with a spec to have multiple purposes. I like to PvP, as much as be able to run dungeons. Now this wouldnt be a raid friendly spec because obviously there is no mana Tide totem. What this will allow you to do though (In theory because I still havnt hit 60 to try it), is to do some BG's/W-PvP (With healing, and be a damage dealer), and be a healer for pre-raid instances.

For the Resto tree we grab the spells to help reduce healing time, cost, and effectiveness. These will help out it both PvE/PvP. We also grab the two talents Ancestral Healing, and Healing Way to give tanks healing buffs. Nature's guidance is in there for the PvP aspects as we will not want to miss with our shocks. This is our main damage dealer. To wrap it up, Tidal Mastery to get the extra crit for Heals/Lightning. Lastly, Nature's Swiftness for that instant heal, or killing blow from a Lb. We are missing Restorative Totems/Mana Tide for raids, but like I said. This isnt a raiding spec.
In the Ele tree Concussion for he extra shock/LB damage.
Elemental Warding for Mage/Locks, and PvE scenarios.
Call of Flame for PvP totem damage.
Elemental Focus is a given, Free spell.
Reverberation over Call of Thunder because in PvP shocks will be your main damage since we cannot grab Lightning Mastery.
Eye of the Storm we no longer have kickbacks from casting in PvP.
Elemental Fury for the extra crit damage.
The gear would revolve around Ele gear for PvP, and Resto gear for PvE. Now you could just say why do you just respec. This is true, but having to respec consistently as a casual player gets very expensive (even though its at a 10g cap on this sever) , and I don't want to keep respecing if I am not healing in raids. This would be a spec for the casual Resto shaman who wants to PvE heal dungeons, and PvP at the same time. Let me know your thoughts.
