BRE is as good or better than ironfoe horde side for pve.

  • Against plate pvper with usually at most 5k armor: 47.6% -> 43.8% damage reduction. So you get ~3.8% damage increase.
  • Against ~2k armor you get: 26.6% -> 19.1% damage reduction. So 7.5% damage increase.
  • Against 1200 armor, you get: 17.9% -> 9.8% damage reduction. So 8.1% damage increase.

That 3.8% is applied to your unmitigated damage so even though your post is correct in the end,it would be more clear if you gave the relative percentage damage increase which in this case would be 0.038/0.624 = 6.1% relative damage increase. There's a huge misconception about armor diminishing returns, if you wanted to list the adjusted numbers it would be:


  • 6.1%
  • 0.075/0.734 = 10%
  • 0.081/0.821 = 9.9%

Yes, bad choice of words. It's 3.8% of the damage stat value on your character window added to existing damage you do on a lvl60 player with 5k armor.

random crits I got with it, was long time ago and only r13 gear so could easily go higher with better gear(not much AP)

How often do you see the procs happening? What would you say your normal uptime is for 1 proc/2 procs/ poss 3 during fights in pvp?

Or was this not on Kronos that you took these SS's?

On feenix proc chance was 12-15% and I'd say it's blizzlike because no one has proved me otherwise)
