is it even possible to hit 60k rating points getting 12k a week with 20% decay? and if so how many weeks from 55,000 (r13) to r14?

Using Jahrakal's current RP (56 215), it would take him 61 weeks to reach 60 000 RP with 12K RP / week. This week is AV though, but it is indeed worrisome for afterwards.

Holidays are only a part of the story. Last week there was excessive sandfarming going on. It made a lot less BG's pop than there otherwise would have.

Bump, Feel bad for my boy JAH RAH KAL. If you been through the rank grind you know this is garbage. Shouldn't punish rank points for such a low pop for pvp. It turns even more people away from pvp.

59999 * 0,8 + 12000 = 59999,2
59999,2 * 0,8 + 12000 = 59999,36

60000 * 0,8 + 12000 = 60000

You'll get close and closer, but you will never reach it.

It converges on 60.000 when n goes to infinity. Unless some special rule is involved(like progressing in a rank is at least a certain amount of RP, i dont know if something like this is true for RP calculations), it wont ever happen.
