Nerf Ironfoe

It is probably too late to nerf this item. Maybe when KT loot comes out, but people have invested a lot of time in acquiring this item. I think everyone agrees it is completely silly that Ironfoe is better by a landslide than anything else. Still, people have done 400ish run to get their item and that should be compensated.
 
so by that logic runeblade of baron rivendare should be buffed to be as good as r14 2h to compensate for its rarity???

Maybe I should've said "end game raid item".
Thunderfury takes a longer time to get than Ironfoe yet Ironfoe still outperforms it TPS-wise.
I really don't know how to respond to this.

Better than Might of Menethil by that logic, actually.
 
There are many weapons on par with Thunderfury when it comes to single-target threat generation. The advantage of Thunderfury is simply its AOE threat. Keep in mind the proc from it, while generating okay threat, does not give you any rage and rage is also a big factor in threat. Some bosses also reduce spell damage taken, or are immune to nature.

There is even less Ironfoes on the server if you remove the people who got it by resetting the instance while staying in the Emperors room!
 
Kronos partially addressed ironfoe by reducing the drop rate considerably from blizzlike. From what I've researched it's supposed to be 2% while on kronos it's .8%. Maybe you should get off your ass and farm it yourself instead of trying to get a blizzlike item changed that many put 100+ hours into obtaining.

I have Ironfoe.
 
How would nerfing it to where its better than any other preraid and maybe some mc items, but worse than blackwing/aq alternatives be an issue?
 
What's the fun if everything is perfectly balanced and polished? It's part of vanilla having a unique weapon like Ironfoe.
 
Because I didn't do 108 runs of brd for an item that gets replaced in bwl. You don't just spend one week farming ironfoe, you spend months of doing 1+ runs every single day with pugs that have no clue.

Why not just say that upfront rather than try to defend Ironfoe with poor logic?
What about the people that ranked to R14 thinking the weapons would be bis until Naxxramas? Surely they spent more time grinding rank than you did farming Ironfoe. It's an insult that Ironfoe is used in end-game raids.

Now that we've decided that you're all stupid for thinking Ironfoe should be as good as it is, let's get onto a real issue here...

Like how Erminn believes that CTS > AQR.
 
I really don't like seeing people trying to nerf this 1.11. The point of going back in time is to go back in time. No to suite things to your wishes.

well, quite a few here rather prefer improving vanilla so i wouldnt be surprised if they nerfed ironfoe, like AV was nerfed or the LoS fixed or ...
 
Helo I did 200runs for ironfoe but no drop pls nerf it so I dont have to do more))

Nah but seriously I dont want to be stuck using ironfoe for the rest of the game if I actually get it some day
